Minor confession: I get to go on a cruise for work again this summer and they usually book a barn burnin’ group to play every night in the bar on the top deck (last year it was a bunch of rowdy French Canadians). When I heard it would be Chuck Mead this year, I was uncharacteristically all “Chuck Who?” for a while but when I was in Nashville I finally realized who he is and now I’m kind of pooping my pants because I’ll basically be attending Honky Tonk U for a week and a half (that is a metaphor, not a Toby Keith reference).
