How hard could it be?

How hard could it be?

…and brought to you by Bob’s Bank, in the little green mobile home there on Main Street. This is a big week at Bob’s, the last week he’ll be in Lake Wobegon; one week from today, Bob moves to a new location in Anoka. That’s right. In order to position himself to enter the fast-growing north suburban banking market and also to be close to the racetrack when pari-mutuel betting starts in Minnesota next spring, Bob’s is moving to Anoka. To his old customers, Bob says: ‘It’s convenient to bank by mail, and if you don’t think so, take a hike. Who needs you?’ And to the Twin Cities residents looking for a new bank home, Bob says: ‘See you Saturday, west of Anoka on Highway 10, or just north on 47 by the fairgrounds, or perhaps in the high school parking lot.’ Don’t look for the sign of the sock — Bob has a new corporate logo now, a thoroughbred horse, and underneath it says, ‘Bob’s Bank — We’re On The Move, Minnesota.’
